MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 8K NXP Cards with Hi-Co Magnetic Stripe

The MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 8K card with Hi-Co magnetic stripe combines secure contactless smart card technology with swipe-based magnetic stripe functionality on a single credential.

Manufactured using NXP MIFARE DESFire EV2 technology, each card operates at 13.56 MHz and provides 8KB of memory for storing access credentials and application data. The higher memory capacity makes these cards suitable for organisations that need to support multiple applications or store larger amounts of data on one card.

This version includes a durable Hi-Co magnetic stripe that can be encoded for use with compatible swipe readers. This makes the cards well suited to mixed-system environments where contactless access control is used alongside time and attendance, membership, payment or legacy magnetic stripe systems.

The blank white PVC surface can be personalised with photographs, names, job titles, company logos, text, barcodes and other identification details using a compatible plastic card printer.

The cards are manufactured to ISO card standards and supplied in clean, dust-free, anti-static packaging to help protect print quality and card performance.
