Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to provide my own artwork? No - but you can if you want to. You're welcome to upload your own print-ready artwork when placing your order. If you'd prefer us to create the design for you, just request a quote and we'll confirm the cost. Either way, we'll check everything before it goes to print.
  • Can I order just one or two replacement cards? Yes. There's no minimum order, so if a card has been lost or damaged and you just need one replacement, you can order it at the standard 1–10 price. It's one of the things our customers tell us they genuinely value.
  • Can my cards be encoded for access control? Yes. We can supply cards encoded with Mag Stripe, RFID, MIFARE, or Barcode depending on the system you're using. If you're not sure which encoding you need, we can help you work that out before you order.
  • What file format should I use for my artwork? We recommend supplying artwork as a PDF or high-resolution image file (300dpi minimum). If you're not sure whether your file is suitable, send it over and we'll let you know before you commit to an order.
  • How long will my order take to complete? Turnaround times depend on the complexity of your order and whether artwork is ready to go. We'll confirm expected dispatch times when your order is placed. If you have a deadline, tell us upfront and we'll do what we can to meet it.
  • What's the difference between 480 and 760 micron cards? Thickness. A 760 micron card is the same thickness as a standard credit card - rigid and durable. The 480 micron option is thinner and works well in certain ID card printers. We also offer an Enviricard option at 480 micron for organisations looking for a more sustainable alternative to traditional PVC.
