The MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 8K card is a secure contactless smart card designed for access control, transport, campus, payment and multi-application identification systems.

Manufactured using NXP MIFARE DESFire EV2 technology, each card operates at 13.56 MHz and provides 8KB of memory for storing access credentials and application data. The higher memory capacity makes it suitable for organisations that need to support multiple applications or store larger amounts of data on a single credential.

MIFARE DESFire EV2 technology supports fast data transmission, flexible memory organisation and secure authentication. This makes the cards suitable for environments where data protection, reliable performance and interoperability with compatible infrastructure are important.

The blank white PVC surface can be personalised with photographs, names, job titles, company logos, text, barcodes and other identification details using a compatible plastic card printer.
