The MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 4K card is a secure contactless smart card designed for access control, transport, campus, payment and multi-application identification systems.

Manufactured using genuine NXP MIFARE DESFire EV2 technology, each card provides 4KB of non-volatile memory for storing access credentials and application data. Its flexible memory structure allows multiple applications to be managed on a single credential, making it suitable for organisations that need one card to support several services.

The cards use ISO/IEC 14443 Type A contactless technology and are designed for fast, reliable communication with compatible readers. Security features include mutual authentication, data encryption, a true random number generator and an anti-tear mechanism that helps maintain data integrity if a contactless transaction is interrupted.

The blank white PVC surface can be personalised with photographs, names, job titles, company logos, text, barcodes and other identification details using a compatible plastic card printer.
