The MIFARE Classic® 1K EV1 white card with magnetic stripe combines contactless smart card technology with swipe-based magnetic stripe functionality on a single credential.

Manufactured using genuine NXP MIFARE Classic EV1 technology, each card operates at 13.56 MHz and communicates wirelessly with compatible readers. A unique 4-byte identifier helps distinguish individual cards, while the 1KB memory can be used to store access credentials, user information, balances and other application data.

This version includes a magnetic stripe, allowing the card to be encoded for use with compatible swipe readers alongside its contactless MIFARE functionality. This makes it suitable for organisations operating mixed systems, such as access control, time and attendance, membership, cashless payment or legacy magstripe applications.

The cards comply with ISO/IEC 14443 Type A and are suitable for systems that specifically support MIFARE Classic technology. As not every 13.56 MHz reader supports MIFARE Classic credentials, compatibility should be checked with your existing reader or access control system before ordering.

Each card has a blank white PVC surface that can be personalised using a compatible plastic card printer. Add photographs, employee details, logos, text, barcodes and other branding to create professional access control or photo ID cards.
